We congratulate the winners of GPeC 2012

On the 30th of October 2012 the 7th edition of GPeC E-Commerce Awards Gala – the most important e-commerce event in Romania, yearly rewarding online shops performance and the performance of the companies directly involved in the e-commerce industry: banks, payments processors, platforms, web agencies, price comparison engines, e-commerce services and solutions providers. Congratulations to all the winners!

We celebrate the winners of GPeC 2012 – the most important e-commerce event in Romania!

I. Awards granted according to RomCard statistics

• The highest number of cards enrolled in 3D Secure by a bank – Banca TransilvaniaT, 97.934 activated cards out of which 62.641 cards activated within the last 12 months
• The highest number of enrolled merchants by a 3D Secure Bank – Banca Transilvania, 260 comercianti activi
• Best start-up in accepting payments within the 3D Secure system – Libra Internet Bank – 76 active merchants and over 3.000 transactions/month in 12 months since launch
• Best evolution of a bank in the last 12 months – Banca Comerciala Romana – average of 72.000 transactions / month in 2012 vs. average 27.000 transactions / month in 2011
• Highest processed volume/Bank of the Year in E-Commerce 2012 – BRD-GSG – 2.645.420 transactions during the last 12 months vs. 1.992.569 transactions in 2011
